Kathryn Luckie Wingard
Wingard, Kathryn Luckie, age 93, a resident of Morrow, GA, native of Forest Home and one time resident of Greenville died on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn R. Wingard, a brother Pat Luckie and a brother Sam Luckie. Survivors include sister Mary Alice Parker of Montgomery, George Luckie of Montgomery, sons Joe Wingard of Morrow, GA, Sam Wingard of Hodgenville, KY and Dennis Wingard of Atlanta, GA along with 5 grand children, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Butler County High School, Huntingdon College, a Navy veteran, and an elementary school teacher for many years until her retirement.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, 5320 Phillips Drive, Morrow, GA 30260. Funeral services will be at 11am on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 at Jones Memorial with burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Forest Home at 4 pm on Feb. 2,2012. Harrison Funeral Home is in in charge of local arrangements and burial.
Helen Hartin McNew McNEW, Helen Hartin, age 94, a life long resident of Greenville, Al. died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services were held, Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at 2:30 PM from the Chapel of Harrison Funeral Home, with Reverend Joel Snell officiating. Burial followed in Sunrise Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing. A visitation was held 1 hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Michael Chappelle CHAPPELLE, Michael, died on December 10, 2011. He was born in Greenville, AL., graduated from Greenville High School, Marion Military Institute and the University of Alabama where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega. He was preceeded in death by his parents, John Morris Chappelle and Martha Atkins Chappelle Mills, and his brother John Morris Chappelle, Jr. He is survived by his son, John Michael Chappelle of Point Clear and his daughter Catherine Boyd Chappelle Padgett, her husband Jason and their son Dawson Roberts Padgett. Also, his sister Martha (Sissy) Chappelle Galloway and her husband Frank of Birmingham, AL. A memorial service will be held at Pine Apple United Methodist Church at 10 AM on Saturday, December 17, 2011 with Reverend Reid McCormick, rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church officiating. Mrs. Owens was born in Brisbane, Australia and was married to her first late husband Mr. Reeford Mosley for nine months as he was killed in service of the United States Army. She was also preceded in death by her second husband Mr. Elvin Owens. Mrs. Owens worked for nearly thirty years in the Glove Factory here in Greenville, AL. She is survived by:

MORRIS, Exa Bell, 79, died Friday November 4, 2011. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 PM, November 7, 2011 from the Union Baptist Church in Honoraville with Rev. Brandon Baird and Rev. William Burns officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include daughter, Marion (Jack) Rayfield, Sylacauga, AL, son, Joseph (Glenda) Perdue, Honoraville. Grandsons, Stephen (Nancy) Rayfield, Birmingham, Andrew (Kelly) Perdue, Honoraville, granddaughter, Kantrinya (Gabe) Gonzales, Birmingham. Calvin Henry (Dick) Till TILL, Mr. Calvin Henry (Dick), 77, died peacefully Friday, October 28, 2011 surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. Services will be held Monday, October 31, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Herbert Brown officiating and interment to follow at Sunrise Memorial Park with full military honors. Pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons and Allen Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be his great grandsons, Ben, IV, Lune Wilson, Cade Phillips, Carson "Tucker" Phillips, Brodie Houston, Branson Houston, Brock Tolson, Konner Dolberry and Brady Dolberry.
There will be a visitation on Sunday, October 30, 2011, from 4 PM until 6 PM.
Mr. Till is predeceased by his parents, Naomi and Erbin Edward Till, a grandson, Jakob Allen Wilson and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, a daughter, Glenda Till Easterling and her husband Ben. 3 Sons, Richard Till, Chuck Till his wife Dede, and Dale Till and his wife, Gale. His grandchildren, Ben Easterling, III, and his wife Cathrine, Krista Till Blanton, Erin Till Wilson and her husband Scott, Andi Till Phillips and her husband, Kyle, Chip Till, Steve Hannabass Till, Alaina Till Houston, Courtney Till Tolson and her husband Ashley, Kimberly Till Sellers and her husband Jonathan, Kris Dolberry and his wife Vanessa. He is also survived by 14 Great-grandchildren, a brother James Till and his wife Carolyn, and a sister, Betty Till Wilson and her husband, Jim. Mr. Till is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served two tours with distinction and earned several medals, including the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal with Cluster, Viet Nam Service Medal and Viet Nam Gallantry Cross with Palm. The family requests in lieu of flowers. donations may be made to the Montgomery Cancer Center or SBC, or to the charity of your choice. Danice Heartsill Costes COSTES, Dr. Danice Heartsill, age 69, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 in Lexington. KY.
