Amy Amerson Cobb, age 52, of Naples, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018, at her home. Amy was born May 31, 1965, in Naples, Texas.

Amy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Naples. She graduated from Paul Pewitt High School and then worked many years as a secretary. She enjoyed arts and crafts, garage-saling, and collecting vintage jewelry. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Amy is survived by her father, Dwayne Amerson of Omaha; mother and step-father, Carol and Gerald King of Omaha; four daughters and sons-in-law, Nicole and Rex Allen Hawkins of Omaha, Nina Cobb and Clint Adams of Naples, Cilla and Mitchell McCollum of Mt. Pleasant, and Hope Cobb and Todd Harris; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Sherry Amerson of Omaha; step-brother and step-sister-in-law, Kris and Niki King of Omaha; step-sister, Neisha King of Omaha; seven grandchildren, Keira Hawkins, Blakely McCollum, Reagan McCollum, Bryson Adams, Jaylee Adams, Ali Hawkins, and Peyton Hawkins; spouse, Brad Derrick; special niece, Jennifer McEntire; two nephews, Blake Amerson and Taylor Amerson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Wilder Cemetery in Naples with Bro. Joe Cameron officiating. Friends that can not attend the service may sign the register book from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
