Andy Charlton, age 69, of Douglassville, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Naples, Texas. Andy was born August 17, 1954 in Mount Pleasant, Texas, to Harvel Charlton and Katherine Anderson Charlton.

Andy was a member of Bar Nun Cowboy Ministries in Omaha, Texas. He was a truck driver for many years. Andy enjoyed fishing, riding backroads, cooking, and playing dominoes. He loved all animals, visiting with friends, and telling jokes.

Andy was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Charlton; his parents; one sister, Joyce Ellis; and one nephew, Tony Osmon.

Survivors include one daughter, Kristi Charlton and Edward Robison of Naples, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Mickey and Sharon Charlton of DeKalb, Texas; two grandchildren, Jerald Morgan and Toni and Sadie Putman; one nephew, Marty Charlton of DeKalb, Texas; his significant other, Marvadene Carpenter; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2023 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Bro. Dwaine Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Omaha Cemetery in Omaha, Texas. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
