Elizabeth Anne Buchanan, age 85, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  Anne was born July 29, 1935 in Wright City, Oklahoma to Samuel Waylon Sutterfield and Nettie Melma Harrison Sutterfield.

Anne was a member at the Church of Christ in Naples.  Anne graduated from Henderson State University in 1956.  She then went to work for SWEPCO.  Anne then became a county extension agent.  After retiring, Anne later worked at the Morris County National Bank.  She enjoyed cooking and traveling.  She also enjoyed raising race horses with her husband, Kendyle, and watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Kendyle Buchanan in 2020; and her parents.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Sue Milliken of Dallas; nine nieces and nephews, Claire, Pat, Barbara, Jackie, Bobby, James, Danny, Cindy, and Johnny; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and many close friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Phillip Kelley and Damon Hodges officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
