Barbara Ruth Atchley, age 80, of New Boston, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019, in Texarkana, Texas.  Barbara was born February 28, 1939, in Dallas, Texas, to Herman Greer and Dorothy Boles Greer.

Barbara attended church at the Oak Terrace Mission in New Boston.  She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and working in flowerbeds.  She also enjoyed working crossword puzzles and camping.  Barbara loved spending time with family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Eddie Miller; one brother, Jerry Greer; and her special friend, Morris Jones.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ricky Miller of Keller, Texas; Jerry and Claire Atchley of Maud, Texas, and Larry Atchley and Wilma Dean of New Boston; two daughters and one son-in-law, Susan Melton of Keller, and Rava and Kenneth Walters of Texarkana; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Snow Hill Cemetery in Cason, Texas.
