Barbara Ann Mongognia, age 69, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 in Naples. Barbara was born May 9, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York, to Robert Remsen and Muriel Daisy Kliesrath Remsen.

Barbara was a member of Restoration Family Worship Center in Naples. She retired from Wal-Mart after 22 years of serving in all capacities in the deli department. Barbara had a love for food. She loved cooking, baking, and being able to spend time with her beloved family, especially when she could share her famous baked ziti and meatballs fresh out of the oven. She enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren, watching them enjoy life outside and hearing their laughter. When not chasing family, she enjoyed collecting koalas and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Robin Mongognia of Naples, Pete Jr. and Brandy Mongognia of Naples, and Daniel and Jennifer Mongognia of Naples; one daughter, Jennifer Brincefield of Commerce, Texas; one sister, Kathy West of Naples; twelve grandchildren, Damian Mongognia and wife Allysa, Anthony Mongognia and wife Lindsey, Caden Mongognia, Desi Derr, Madyson Pace, Robert Booker, Stone Mongognia, Sami Mongognia, Sawyer Mongognia, Nicholas Brincefield, Dylan Brincefield, and Chloe Brincefield; four great grand-children, Rowen Mongognia, Myles Mongognia, Eli Gillen, and Xavier Deaton; seven grand-dogs, Legend, Rose, Orion, Snoop, Baylea, Star, and Sadie; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas.
