Ben Calvin Grimes, age 89, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. Ben was born August 16, 1935, in Winnsboro, Texas, to Hazel Clifton Grimes and Merle Brock Grimes.  His mother passed away a day after he was born, and Ben was raised by his aunt and uncle, Ernest and Exie Tolbert.

Ben owned and operated B&L Trophy in Naples before retiring.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Naples and the Naples Lions Club.  Ben enjoyed golfing, drinking coffee with his friends at Netts, and watching westerns.  He also loved antique cars.

Ben was preceded in death by his wife, Teddy Grimes; mother and father, Hazel and Merle Grimes; parents, Ernest and Exie Tolbert; and one sister, Georgie Grimes.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Angie Grimes of Waxahachie, Texas; three grandchildren, Brady Ransdell, Riley Grimes, and Jake Grimes; treasured friend, LaJuana Ingersoll; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating.  Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
