Betty Ruth Barton, age 56, of Naples, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mrs. Barton was born December 30, 1958, in El Paso, Texas to William Alfred Sexton and Marion Hernitus Griffin.

Betty was a homemaker. She was a member at Rocky Point Congregational Methodist Church in Naples. Betty loved to watch little league baseball, and she greatly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Sexton; and Grandparents, Doc and Ruth Griffin.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Barton of Naples; mother and stepfather, Nitie and Jack Starling of Naples; one son, Jerry Ray Barton of Naples; one daughter, Judy Ruth Barton of Naples; four sisters, Robin Morgan of New Boston, Cindy Edwards of Naples, Gail Barton of Naples, and Angie Applewhite of Cookville; two grandsons, Hunter Wayne Minor and Gunner Joe Minor; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service wil be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Restoration Family Worship Center, with Rev. Bryan Peck officiating.
