Betty Charlene Dupont, age 89, of Marietta, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at her home. Betty was born November 25, 1935, in Deer Trail, Colorado, to William Franklin Harris and Marion Maxine Magruder Harris.

Betty was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and watching Nascar. Most of all, Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren and she loved animals.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Hugh Harris and Vernon Harris; and one step-son, Kevin Dupont.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Dupont of Marietta; three daughters, Janice Cusumano and wife Sue of Kyle, Texas, Joy Gregerson and husband Mark of Pemberton, Minnesota, and Tammy Hooper of Portland, Oregon; one step-son, Thomas Dupont of Houston, Texas; two step-daughters, Letha Keene and husband Billy of Milan, Michigan, and Rhonda Gaw and husband Mel of Ida, Michigan; one son-in-law, Rick Workman and wife Davida of Marietta; Nineteen grandchildren, David Cusumano and wife Ashley, Lindsey Grover, Candice Abston and husband Jeff, Dustin Workman, Lee Hamilton and fiancé Margee Beard, Dana Shock, Joe Shock and wife Terri, Joe Tornberg and wife Suzi, Patricia Palmer and husband Nick, Don Tornberg and wife Katie, Billy Keene and wife Kristie, Debbie Dietrich and husband Ted, Michelle Keene, Jean Davenport and husband Dave, Connie Beck, Ron Gaw and wife Pam, Greg Gaw, Jim Ervin and wife Dawn, Mary Ann Ervin; nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2025, at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta, Texas, with Dr. Chas Carlisle officiating.
