Betty Sue Honeyman passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 31 , at the age of 93 years and 1 day. She was born January 30 , 1928 to Harry Fredrick & Amelia Lane Vissering in Naples, Tx.

She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, David & Lana Honeyman of Omaha, Nebraska, Fred & Rebeca Honeyman of Emerson, Iowa, and daughter & son-in-law Kathy & Wendell Frost, of Naples, Tx. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Son Vissering, 2 sisters, Anne Anthony & Geraldine Vissering, & a grandson, John Honeyman.

Betty was a loving mother, and devoted Grammaw. She was a caregiver by nature, having started as a volunteer at the VA hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, and later brought her experience to Texas, as Dr. Tenbrooks's office nurse. She was content to spend countless hours tending her garden. She was an excellent seamstress, and in her younger years enjoyed dancing. On any sunny day, you could find her on her porch, watching her hummingbirds.

The family will hold a private memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider the Alzheimer's foundation.
