Betty Nan McCord, age 81, of Marietta, Texas, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 in Atlanta, Texas.  Betty was born November 7, 1938 in Union Hill to James Edgar Green and Clydia Meadows Green.

Betty was a member at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta where she served as church secretary for many years.  She retired from the Morris County National Bank where she served as a teller for over 50 years.  Betty was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.  She also enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, and doing for others.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and thirteen brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Kenneth McCord of Marietta; one son and daughter-in-law, Kirby and Dena McCord of Atlanta; two grandsons, Garrison McCord and Cooper McCord; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2020 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta with Dr. Chas Carlisle officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Baptist Church or Oak Ridge Cemetery.
