Barbara Jane "B.J." Kizer (Wilkinson), age 52, of Marietta, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at her home.  B.J. was born May 30, 1968 in Naples, Texas.

B.J. worked for the U.S. Postal Service where she served as postmaster for several area post offices.  She believed in working hard.  When she wasn't at work, she enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, watching football, and spending time with her family.

B.J. was preceded in death by her father, James "Shorty" Kizer; and one sister, Dianne Cameron.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Wilkinson of Marietta; one son, Michael Wilkinson of Marietta; one daughter and son-in-law, Merissa and Zach Gonzales of Marietta; one grandson, Wade Wilkinson; a special cousin, Sandy Goodwin; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at New Hope Cemetery in Marietta with Todd Ranes officiating.  The body will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.
