Jimmy Leroy "Bo" Barron, age 76, of Simms, Texas, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at his home. Bo was born October 23, 1949, in Bassett, Texas, to Robert Coy Barron and Bessie Lee Obenoskey Barron.

Bo was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. He retired from Simms ISD where he worked in the Maintenance Department. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, canning, and piddling around the house. Bo loved spending time with his family, and his greatest blessings called him "papa".

Bo was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Toni Barron; one son, Jamie Barron; and one brother, Billy Barron.

Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Lori Barron of West Frankfort, Illinois; one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Erik Eaves of Simms; one daughter-in-law, Lisa Barron of New Boston, Texas; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Mary Barron of Simms, Luke and Glenda Barron of Simms, Buck and Lillie Barron of Simms, and Leroy and Deborah Barron of Mt. Vernon, Texas; one sister, Patsy Allen of Simms; one sister-in-law, Betty Barron of Simms; 13 grandchildren, Suede Barron and wife Sydney, Sydney Barron, Spencer Barron, Jason Barron and Brandi, Karley Barron and Cory, Connor Barron and wife Hope, Jaycee Eaves, Brayden Eaves, Madyann Eaves, and Ellee Eaves, Ryan Buckingham, Makayla Buckingham and husband Seth, Jaidyn Caraway-Short and husband Lane; 10 great-grandchildren, Maci, Bennett, Raylei, Teagan, Julian, Matteo, Ellis, Kirk, Aviana, and Sophia; two special nephews and one niece, Kim Karr, Karry Karr, and Angela Ritchie; one special friend, Greg Thomas; and numerous relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2026, at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Siloam Baptist Church in Simms with Bro. Justin King officiating.  Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms.
