Bobby Alford, age 92, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at his home.  Bobby was born January 20, 1932, in Naples, Texas to Robert Turner Alford and Marguerite Hargiss Alford.

Bobby retired from Atlas Roofing where he was a supervisor.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 65 years.  Bobby loved farming and gardening.  He also enjoyed raising hogs.  Bobby also loved high school football and basketball.  In his later years, he enjoyed playing Bingo.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbye Jean Alford; his parents; one daughter, Donna Godwin; and two grandsons, Damon Robison and David Day.

Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law,  Bob Alford of Longview, Texas, Jim and Linda Alford of Pittsburg, Texas, and David Alford of Omaha; eight grandchildren, Laurie Nicholson and husband Lee, Angie Stephens and husband Lee, Josie Henderson, Leslee Clayton and husband Erik, Jimmy Alford and wife Nicole, Bobby Lee Alford and wife Ashton, Kami Smith and husband Brent, and Lydia Godwin; sixteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating.  Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the funeral home prior to the funeral.
