Brenda Joyce Kingston, age 73, of Naples, Texas, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016, at a Mt. Pleasant, Texas hospital. Brenda was born December 9, 1942 in Gadsden, Alabama to John Edward Couch and Mary Dale Brown Couch.

Brenda was a homemaker. She was Assembly of God by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Brenda loved to cook and was a very good seamstress.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Jim Kingston of Naples; one daughter and son-in-law, Keena and Dave McNaughton of Boston, Massachusetts; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Leigh Ann Kingston of Mt. Pleasant, and Keith and Kristen Kingston of Sachse, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Don and Connie Couch of Fort Worth; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Kerry Ellsworth of Daingerfield, and Becky and Paul Camp of Daingerfield; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Don Couch officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta.
