Brian Wayne Hooper was born to Richard and Ann Hooper on December 23, 1980. He passed away at home on February 6, 2025.
At just 44 years old, Brian has been a cornerstone of our small community, known for his infectious spirit and kind heart. He is the type of person you couldn't help but like. His presence brings joy to everyone who knows him, and his nickname "Hoop-Dawg" is synonymous with warmth, friendship, and laughter. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Naples, Tx. He had many passions in life. He was a multi sport athlete in the Special Olympics. He loved all of the adventures with his beloved friends Jere and Tracey Kellough.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Wayne Hooper; Aunts and Uncles, Sheila Waddill, Barbara Lawrence, Carl Hall, John Hall, Chuck Hooper, Floyd Hooper, Dennis Isham; and close friend, Jere Kellough.
He is survived by his mother, Deloris Ann Hooper of Omaha, Tx; siblings, Matt Hooper of Omaha, Tx, Whitney Babcock of Omaha, Tx; nephews, Brady Babcock, Cannon Babcock, Colby Babcock; close friends, Lindsey Hart of Naples, Tx, Andrea Forte of Naples, Tx, and Tracey Kellough of Naples, Tx.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, from 6-8 PM in the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, at Liberty Baptist Church in Naples, Tx, with Bro. Roy Conatser officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Liberty Baptist Church in Naples, Tx.
