Obituary

William Frank "Buddy" Boozer, age 80, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, in Longview, Texas.  Buddy was born January 28, 1939, in Omaha, Texas, to Clayton Frank Boozer and Mary Alene Parker Boozer.

Buddy was a member at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha.  He was a United States Army Veteran.  Buddy retired from T & N Railroad where he was a carman and a welder.  Buddy was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, The American Legion, David Elliott Masonic Lodge, and the Omaha Volunteer Fire Department.  He enjoyed woodwork and ceramics as well as fishing and cooking.  Buddy loved telling stories and playing jokes.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sharon Boozer of Omaha; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Dwayne Heard of Lake Striker, Texas; one son, Bruce Boozer; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Connie Caldwell of Omaha, Margie and Rafel Ranes of Mesquite, Texas, and Lynn Cheshire of Amarillo, Texas; five grandchildren, Trey Ewalt, Trevor Ewalt, Talor Ewalt, Chelsea Ewalt, and Dustin Heard; five great-grandchildren, Stetson Cain, Journey Murillo, Rhaelynn Ewalt, Cooper Ewalt, and Natalie Murillo; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha with Rev. Nolan Richey and Dr. Jerry Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha.
