Candace Louise Keener "Candy" Adams, age 71, of Naples, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024, in Daingerfield, Texas.  Candy was born December 4, 1952, in Atlanta, Texas, to Frank J. Lummus and Mary Elizabeth Hudson Lummus.

Candy was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta, Texas.  She worked as a registered nurse over 30 years before retiring.  Candy enjoyed shopping, traveling, and attending ladies' bible studies.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Candy was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Keener; her parents; two brothers, Tommy Lummus and Jack Lummus; and one niece, Rachel Sonnier Leach.

Survivors include her husband, Loye "Butch" Adams, Jr. of Naples; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Loye Adams, III of Naples; one son, Steven Keener and girlfriend Amy Hampton of Marietta; one stepdaughter, Delene Penix of Princeton, Texas; one brother, Bill Lummus of Glendale, California; one sister, Becky Sonnier of Church Point, Louisiana; one sister-in-law, Bobbie Lummus of Longview, Texas; two grandchildren, Loye Adams, IV and wife Brittany and Harper Adams; two step-grandchildren, Ashley Lazuli and Annaliese Penix; six great-grandchildren, Addy Adams, Rose Brown, Cory Urbina, Eleanor Adams, Loye "Finn" Adams, V, and Wesson Adams; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2024 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta with Dr. Chas Carlisle officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chambers Hospice.
