Carol Louise Ochs, age 93, of Naples, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Carol was born January 10, 1931, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Paul Richard Stock and Edith Louise Kistner Stock.

Carol worked as a first-grade teacher. She loved to sing and write. She also enjoyed making art, listening to music, and playing the violin, the concert harp, and the piano.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ochs; her parents; and two sisters, Eleanore Kinney and Ruth Main.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Heide and Roger Edmonson of Naples, Texas; three grandchildren, Melissa Wright and Kris Kincaid, Marty Edmonson and wife CiCi, and Melodie Lawings and husband Troy; six great-grandchildren, Kody Wright and wife Nicki, Tanner Wright, Brelee Lawings and Averett Griffith, Kade Lawings and Whitney Butler, Ashton Edmonson, and Ayden Edmonson; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family would like to offer a special "Thank You" to Dale, Connie, Maria, Hope, LaDonna, Jessica, Emily, Crystal, Latoria, all the other staff of Heritage Park Village for their wonderful care, and to Chambers Hospice.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.
