Carolyn Lee Ackerman, age 77, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at her home.  Carolyn was born August 18, 1946, in Shelbyville, Indiana, to Marvin Ellison Webb and Virginia Lee Gatewood Webb.

Carolyn was a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  She was a retired legal secretary.  Carolyn was also a certified chaplain and focused on jail ministry.  She was very bold in sharing her faith and led numerous bible studies.  Carolyn enjoyed putting together puzzles, bowling, baking, and singing.  She loved her dogs, and in her younger years, she loved riding horses.  Carolyn also had a genuine love for people.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Scott Ackerman.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Paul Ackerman of Naples; one daughter and son-in-law, Lori Ackerman and John Edens of Naples; one daughter-in-law, Julie Ackerman of Glendale, Arizona; one brother, Drew Webb of Greenfield; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Janet Skeehan of Greenfield and Margo and Phil Lauer of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Tyler Ackerman, Segan Ackerman, Joshua Ackerman-Blake and wife Daisy, Sarah Woodward and husband Andrew, and Maddison Kerfoot; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant with Dr. Clint Davis officiating.
