Clenon Cleo "C.C." Hemsell, Jr., age 90, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Friday, January 20 ^th , 2023, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  C.C. was born July 26th, 1932, in Penn Yan, New York, to Clenon Cleo Hemsell, Sr. and Helen Burnett Hemsell.

C.C. was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha, Texas.  He was a lifelong entrepreneur and enjoyed many different careers over the years.  C.C. was an avid fisherman and talented mechanic.  In addition, he enjoyed gardening and reading.  In his younger years, C.C. enjoyed racing boats.

C.C. was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott Hemsell; and two wives, Sharon Hemsell and Sandy Hemsell.

Survivors include his former wives, Joyce Cochran and Sharon Taylor; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Lore Hemsell of Denton, Texas, and Steve and Rosemary Hemsell of Grapevine, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and David Floyd of Omaha, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Britt Hemsell of Plano, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Kathy Hemsell of New Braunfels, Texas, nephew Todd Hemsell and niece Amy Miller; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation services are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held at Asbury Methodist Church at 117 Hercules in Denton, Texas, at 1 PM on February 4 ^th, 2023. In addition, a private family Burial Service will be held at Sparkman Hillcrest in Dallas, Texas, at another date.
