Charles Roger Knight, age 64, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in Daingerfield, Texas.  Charles was born November 19, 1954 in Naples to Herbert Burnice Knight and Dovie Tigert Knight.

Charles attended the Church of Christ in Naples.  He graduated from the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas in 1972.  He worked briefly as a painter, at the roofing plant in Daingerfield, Red River Arsenal, in the maintenance department of Paul H Pewitt School, and some general carpentry for his Uncle Buddy Tigert. Charles enjoyed building things. He also loved fishing and playing with cats.  He enjoyed eating with those who befriended him at Little Don Juans, Pruett's Grocery, Nett's Restaurant, and others.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Ronald Knight and Jimmy Knight.

Survivors include his sister, Carol Ann and husband Bobby Joe Johnson of Jenkins; three brothers, Gerald Knight of Naples, Ricky and wife Brenda Knight of Naples, Tommy and wife Pennie Knight of Naples; sister-in-law, Dean Knight of Jenkins; and numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at Springhill Cemetery in Naples with Rev. Ricky Knight officiating.
