Cody was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and June Hodges, and his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Knight.

Survivors include his wife, Stevie Hodges of Omaha; one son, Wesley Hodges of Omaha; parents; Damon and Donna Hodges of Omaha; his maternal grandfather, Gerald Knight of Naples, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Dustin Reynolds of Pittsburg, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Seth and Erin Hodges of Omaha, and Caleb and Megan Hodges of Bloomburg, Texas; seven nephews, Isaac Hodges, Cutter Hodges, Boone Hodges, Brody Hodges, Dooley Hodges, Jackson Roberts, and Barrett Roberts; five nieces, Maguire Reynolds, Tatum Reynolds, Wylie Jo Hodges, Texi Belle Hodges, and Shelby Mitchell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
