Connie Mac Jones, Sr., age 83, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. Connie Mac was born June 12, 1940, in Slaton, Texas, to Robert Lee Jones and Ethel Harrison Jones.

Connie Mac was a member of the Church of Christ in Naples, Texas. He worked as the Fleet Manager for the Texas Department of Transportation. Connie Mac enjoyed sitting on his porch, coaching little league baseball when his children were young, and passing out candy at church. He also enjoyed farming cotton in his younger years and having fish frys. Connie Mac loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Connie Mac was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and five sisters.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mac and Debbie Jones of Omaha and Lane and Staci Jones of Omaha; one daughter, Dawn Jones of Plano, Texas; nine granddaughters, Larissa Green and husband Jeremy, Ashlee Green and husband Justin, Brittani Griffin and husband Jeremy, Lynsey Hensley and husband Luke, Taylor McWilliams and husband Kyle, Cassidy Newsom and husband Stephen, Hillary Watkins and husband Phillip, Shelby Love and husband Matt, and Sydney Thornton; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2023 at the Church of Christ in Naples, Texas with Damon Hodges officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Church of Christ of Naples, Texas and Beds of Hope Ministry.
