Connie Annette McCollum, age 52, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  Connie was born April 23, 1970, in Naples, Texas, to William Jerry Derrick and Jeanette Knight Derrick.

Connie was a member at Bar Nun Cowboy Ministries in Omaha.  She owned and operated Friends Hair Salon in Omaha.  Connie enjoyed shopping and going to the beach.  She loved cooking and spending time with her family.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Bud McCollum of Omaha; two daughters and sons-in-law, Emily and Jerry Braddock of Omaha, and Randa and Eddie Priefert of Mt. Pleasant; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Zach and Sally Alsup of Omaha, Lee McCollum of Lubbock, Texas, and Brady McCollum of Denison, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Clint and Michelle Derrick of Omaha; eight grandchildren, Mallory Braddock, Cason Braddock, Forest Braddock, Preslee Priefert, Ethan Priefert, Landon Priefert, Collin Priefert, and Ayden Priefert; four special nieces, Ashley Gillispie, Katie Satterfield, Deidra Hooton, and Christina Brown; one special nephew, Dillan Derrick; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Bar Nun Cowboy Ministries in Omaha, Texas with Bro. Dwaine Higgins officiating.  Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.
