Daniel Guinn "Dan" Robison, age 91, of Naples, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Dan was born December 17, 1925 to Morris Robison and Willie Clora Stringfellow Robison.

Dan was a member at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples. He was a US Army Air Corps Veteran where he served as a tail gunner during WWII, and a US Air Force Veteran where he served as a radio operator during the Korean Conflict. Dan retired from the television broadcasting industry where he was an electrical engineer at Channel 8, ABC.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years, a member of the East Texas Amateur Radio Association, a HAM Radio operator, and a recreational pilot.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Muggie Robison; one son, Daniel G. Robison, Jr.; one step-son, Danny Barhum; and two brothers, Ted Robison and Vernon Robison.

Surviving family members include his wife, Esther Robison of Naples; one son and daughter-in-law, Dino and Sara Robison of Dallas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Denise Young of Emory and Robin and Vaughan Spence of Dallas; one step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Linda and Harold Collins of Longview; one sister and brother-in-law, Lenna and Harold "Red" Durham of Naples; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the church, prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hands Extended Food Pantry in Naples.
