David Wesley Day, age 39, of Omaha, Texas, passed away, Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. David was born May 26, 1977 in Naples, Texas.

David enjoyed music and people. He was a graduate of Gladewater High School.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Damon Robison; and grandmother, Bobbye J. Alford.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Godwin of Omaha, Texas; grandfather, Bobby Alford of Omaha, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Kami and Brent Smith of Marietta, Texas and Lydia Godwin of Omaha, Texas; three uncles and aunts, Bob and Cinda Alford of Longview, Texas, Jim and Linda Alford of Pittsburg, Texas, and David and Melodie Alford of Omaha, Texas; three nieces, Lexi Cobb, Shelbi Smith, and Charli Smith; and one nephew, Jayden Cobb.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2016, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel in Naples, Texas with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples, Texas.
