David Michael Edmonson, age 69, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at his home.  David was born August 8, 1951, in Naples, Texas to David Williams Edmonson and Mary Frances McMichael Edmonson.

David was a member at The Church of Christ in Naples, Texas.  He worked for a number of years at T&N Warehouse, and then worked for the City of Daingerfield as an Assistant Public Works Supervisor before retiring.  David was an avid golfer, and loved the sport.  He also enjoyed going to the casino, spending time with his family, playing cornhole with his grandchildren, watching sports, and fishing.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kathy Edmonson of Naples; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Liz Edmonson of Spring, Texas, Chris and Dacia Edmonson of Bullard, Texas, and Corey and Stephanie Edmonson of Naples; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Heide Edmonson of Naples; nine grandchildren, Greg, Andrew, Abigail, Logan, Ben, Zachary, Tyler, Katie, and London Edmonson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Chambers Hospice.
