David Shawn Larson, age 61, of Garland, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. David was born October 14, 1962, in Dallas, Texas.

David was a Christian. He worked as a handyman.

David was preceded in death by his father, Marlin Larson; and stepfather, Ross Morriss.

Survivors include his mother, Maxine Morriss of Rockwall, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Debbie and Ken Horak of Garland, Texas and Andrea Larson of Greenville, Texas; one brother and one sister-in-law, Richard and Tracee Larson of Kaufman, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Douglassville Cemetery in Douglassville, Texas with Rev. Daniel Rigsby officiating.
