Deborah Jean "Debbie" Jackson, age 72, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, in Hughes Springs, Texas. Debbie was born January 16, 1954, in Denison, Texas, to Wesley Welby Hodges and Joyce O'Della McDonald Hodges.

Debbie was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church, and she was also a Girl Scout Troup Leader. Debbie enjoyed playing slow pitch softball, playing basketball, watching her grandchildren dance, and baking.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Thomas Jackson; one sister, Sandy Runyon; and one brother, Randy Hodges.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Jackson of Omaha; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Michelle and Brandon Hunt of Mount Pleasant, Texas and Nicki and Aaron Curtis of Hughes Springs; one brother and sister-in-law, Ricki and Caren Hodges of Marietta, Texas; six grandchildren, Shayleigh Jackson, Emma Hunt, Cannon Hunt, Oliver Curtis, Thomas Curtis, and Luke Curtis; several special nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha with Rev. Nolan Richey and Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Omaha.
