Verla Dean Harker, better known as "Mama Dee" to her family, age 84, of Naples, Texas, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at her home.  Dee was born November 11, 1939, in Wister, Oklahoma, to Mitchell Lewis Coffey and Helen Marie Andrews Coffey.

Dee was a retired financial clerk.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, cooking, and baking.  She always had a positive attitude and would always put her family before herself.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mike Bradshaw; one brother, John Coffey; and one grandson, Jason Bradshaw.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Fred Harker of Naples; two daughters, Sheri Skipper of Pearl, Mississippi and Patricia Harker of Galveston, Texas; nephew, Mitch West and wife Sondra; five grandchildren, Keri Solis and husband Carlos, Nikki Taylor and husband Shawn, Robert Blankenship and wife Jeanette, Alisha Walthall and husband Bubba, and Cody Skipper and wife Leanne; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas.
