Clyde Delbert Finney, Sr., age 75, of Naples, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  Delbert was born December 22, 1945 in Marlin, Missouri to Clyde Albert Finney and Oleta Pearl Hatfield Finney.

Delbert retired from Tamko Roofing. He enjoyed cutting firewood, fighting chickens, raising pigeons, pigs, and rabbits.  He enjoyed preaching and watching Jimmy Swaggart.  Delbert also liked going out to eat and loved spending time with his family.

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Finney; two brothers, Johnny Finney and Dolan Finney; two sisters, Barbara Finney and Virginia Studebaker; and one granddaughter Lainey Finney.

Survivors include his wife of eighteen years, Cindy Finney of Naples, Texas; seven sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Christi Finney of Omaha, Texas, James Stephenson of Linden, Texas, Troy and Felicia Finney of Marietta, Texas, Michael Shane and Stacey Finney of Hughes Springs, Texas, Jason and Rhonda Finney of Memphis, Tennessee, Clyde Finney and Ashley Cooper of Fouke, Arkansas, and Rocky and Kristen Finney of Marietta, Texas; one daughter, Faith Finney of Naples, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Gail Finney of Greenville, Texas; 31 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Jason Finney officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta, Texas.
