Dennis Eugene Dowty, age 64, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Dennis was born May 6, 1960, in Austin, Texas, to Harold Dean Dowty, Sr. and Wanda Marie Ohlhausen Dowty.

Dennis was a member of the Church of Christ of Naples in Naples, Texas. He owned and operated a second-hand store.

Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, June Bradford Dowty; his parents; one son, Andy Dowty; and one sister, Rebecca Sue Dowty.

Survivors include two brothers, Harold Dowty, Jr. of Forest Grove, Oregon and Daniel Dowty of Sikeston, Missouri.

The family would like to give a special thank you to his caretaker Ms. Tina Heath for all that she has done.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.
