Margaret Diane Rumsey, age 85, of Naples, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at her home.  Diane was born July 31, 1938, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Wesley Allen Thomas and Katherine Mae Griffith.

Diane was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker.  Diane enjoyed shopping, attending church activities, and spending time with her family.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Ron Rumsey and John Bryan Rumsey; one daughter, Linda Tullis; one brother, Sonny Thomas; and one sister, Janie Bowers.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Rumsey of Naples; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jerry and Lisa Rumsey of Houston, Texas and Mark Rumsey of Los Angeles, California; one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Bill Kerekesh of Boise, Idaho; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Sophie Bowers of Dallas, Texas and John Bill and Linda Bowers of Dallas; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Concord Cemetery in Omaha, Texas with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord Missionary Baptist Church.
