Dollie Scaff passed away on February 23, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born in Omaha, Texas, May 28, 1920, and was the 6 ^th of 7 children born to Woodson and Ada Coffey.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl Scaff. She is the last member of this generation of her family of birth.

She is survived by her children, Bill and Ula Scaff of Daingerfield, Bob and Deb Scaff of Daingerfield, Dianne and Joe Matthews of Arlington, and Edith and John Perry of Desoto. In addition, she is survived by eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She spent her life serving others both as a volunteer and a professional nurse. After retirement, she expressed her creative art in the making of quilts, which she enjoyed giving away. Most of all, she loved her family.

A viewing will be at Harrison Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Daingerfield, Texas on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dan Gilliam officiating. Interment will follow at the Omaha Cemetery in Omaha.
