Donald Cook, age 81, of Naples, Texas, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024 at his home. Donald was born February 3, 1942, in Linden, Texas to James Fletcher Cook and Susie Ann Shew Cook.

Donald was member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta, Texas. He was a supervisor at Red River Army Depot until retiring. Donald enjoyed all animals, riding horses, fishing, and farming. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and visiting with friends and family.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James "Bully" Cook, Glen "Cotton" Cook, JT Cook; and two sisters, Bessie Surratt and Minnie Mitchell.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Hope Cook of Naples; two daughters and one son-in-law, Donna and Joel Robertson of Marietta, Texas and Kellie Cook of Marietta; one sister, Mildred McDuffie of Linden, Texas; four grandchildren, Katelynn May and husband Aaron, Tyler Robertson and wife Phoebe, Cooper Wise, Seth Wise; four great-grandchildren, Kanon Stafford, Hunter Robertson, Gunner Robertson, Ruger Robertson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home with Dr. Chas Carlisle officating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta, Texas.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Cemetery Fund.
