Donna Jean Godwin, age 66, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 in Naples, Texas. Donna was born June 5, 1954 in Naples to Bobby Alford and Bobbye Jean Johnson Alford.

Donna was a member at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha.  She retired from Paul Pewitt Elementary where she taught for several years.  Donna enjoyed reading, listening to music, and watching TV.  She loved spending time with her family and visiting with her friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbye Alford; two sons, Damon Robison and David Day; two sisters-in-law, Melody Alford and Cinda Alford; and one grandson, Trystan Robison.

Survivors include her father, Bobby Alford of Omaha; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kami and Brent Smith of Naples and Lydia Godwin of Omaha; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Bob Alford of Longview, Texas, Jim and Linda Alford of Pittsburg, Texas, and David Alford of Omaha, Texas; four grandchildren, Lexi Cobb, Jayden Cobb, Charli Smith, and Shelbi Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating.  Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at the funeral home prior to the funeral.
