Doyce Kenneth Martin, age 80, of Cookville, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Tyler, Texas.  Doyce was born October 9, 1940 in Naples, Texas to Alphy Durwood Martin and Lois Esther Lindsay.

Doyce was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  He retired from Red River Army Depot where he was an estimator.  Doyce enjoyed going out to eat and taking care of his pets.  When his sons were younger, he enjoyed coaching their little league baseball teams.  Doyce loved spending time with his family.

Doyce was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gayland Martin; and one sister, Yvonne Waldrum.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Linda Martin of Cookville; two sons, Kendall Martin of Plano, Texas and Shane Martin of Garland, Texas; one brother, Marlin Martin of Naples, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Bro. Leon Goff officiating.  Private burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg, Texas.
