Emery Earl Orr, age 85, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025, at his home. Earl was born March 24, 1940, in Oden, Arkansas, to Remoth Emery Orr and Anna Lee Martin Orr.

Earl was a member of Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. He was retired from Crow Burlingame Auto Parts in Naples, where he was the manager. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Naples Rodeo Club. He was also a Reserve Officer for the Morris County Sheriff's Office. Earl enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mowing his yard. He also loved horses, cars, and most of all spending time with his grandkids.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ronald Orr and Bob Orr; and two brothers-in-law, William Ramsey and Earl Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Myra Orr of Naples; two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Craig Douglas of San Angelo, Texas and Karen and Harold Saintignan of Stonewall, Louisiana; two sisters, Frances Ramsey of DeKalb, Texas and Norma Smith of DeKalb; sister-in-law, Bertha Orr of Farmers Branch, Texas; four grandchildren, Josh Douglas and wife Ashley, Amanda Thornton and husband Marcus, Codey Saintignan, and Chase Saintignan and wife Kimberly; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 15,2025, at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Chaplain John Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Hubbard Cemetery in DeKalb. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2025, prior to the funeral.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Elara Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elara Hospice Care in Paris, Texas.
