Eddie Levern Gray, age 93, of Austin, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Austin, Texas. Eddie was born July 4, 1925 in Omaha, Texas to Arthur L. Gray and Rosa Lee Belyeu Gray.

Eddie was member at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha.  He was a United States Navy veteran, where he served in World War II. Eddie retired from Lone Star Steel, where he was a heavy equipment superintendent.  He loved to spend time fishing and hunting.

Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Dorene Gray; his parents, Arthur L. Gray and Rosa Lee Belyeu Gray; and one brother, Waymond Gray.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Ramona Gray of Austin, Texas and Eddie Jr. and Linda Gray of Tyler, Texas; one cousin, Maudine Ellington of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home with Bro. Nolan Richey officiating.  Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Omaha, Texas.
