Erwin Leon Folsom, Sr., age 65, of Naples, Texas, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in Tyler, Texas.  Erwin was born March 6, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Ira Clarence Folsom and Mary Magneline Garrett.

Erwin was a member of Bar Nun Cowboy Ministries in Omaha, Texas.  He retired from the Texas Utilities Power Plant where he served as the maintenance foreman.  Erwin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them how to build things.  He also loved his dogs.

Erwin was preceded in death by his mother and father; and one sister, Viola Folsom.

Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Kay Folsom of Naples; his step-mother, Lou Ann Folsom; two sons and one daughter-in-law, J.R. and Jennifer Folsom of Naples and James Folsom of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Nancy Folsom of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren, Andrea Deornellis and husband Dalton, Cutter Folsom, Brody Rogers, Garrett Folsom, Deacon Folsom, and Parker Folsom; one great-granddaughter, P.J. Deornellis; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas.
