Esther
Robison
Aug 27, 1931 — Dec 1, 2018
Naples
Esther Robison, 87, packed her fishing gear and headed for Heaven on December 1, 2018. Esther was born August 27, 1931 in Daingerfield, Texas to Isaac and Lillie Murphy. Esther attended school at Paul Pewitt High School. She married Joe Barhum and had two children, Linda and Danny Joe. Later she would marry Dean Skelton and became stepmom to Sharon, Judy and Bobby who she loved and cared for as her own. In March 1976 Esther married the love of her life, Dan Robison and became stepmom to Danny, Dino, Robin and Denise and loved them as her own. Esther held many jobs throughout her life. She and Dan lived in Dallas, Texas until he retired. They returned to Naples and they both worked for the Daingerfield Cable Company. They began fishing together and before long found themselves living at Lake Fork Ranch and managing the RV Park where they not only fished together every day but also made many lifetime friends. Upon their return to Naples they began attending Daniels Chapel Church. She was loved and adored by so many in the church and as a personal ministry she went to area nursing homes as "Maw Tater and the Tater boys" with some of the young men in the church where they entertained residents and sang songs. Esther was known and loved for her wonderful sense of humor and for her love for her family, church family, community and God.
Esther was preceded in death by her "Honey" Dan Robison of Naples, parents, Isaac and Lilly Murphy, son Danny Barhum, grandson Jason Collins and sister Patricia Murphy.
Those left with sweet memories and to carry on her legacy are her daughter, Linda and husband Harold Collins of Longview; granddaughter Missy Collins Coston of Longview; granddaughter-in-law Becky Collins of Burleson, Texas; great granddaughters Jessica and Justin Hernandez of Lakenheath, England, Hannah Coston of Longview, Jennifer Collins of Burleson, Texas; great grandson Corey Collins of Burleson, Texas; brothers, Billy and wife Mary Joyce Murphy of Marietta, Texas and Bobby and wife Sharon Murphy of Grand Saline, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews and many many friends.

Many thanks to Haven Care for their sweet care and love for "Mama The Queen" and to Compass Hospice for all their love and compassion during this time.
