Obituary

Frankie Darlene Tucker, age 77, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025.  Frankie was born September 6, 1947, in Wilburton, Oklahoma, to Melak Wayne Butler and Calvina Dorothea Evans Butler.

Frankie was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.  She and her husband, Tom, owned and operated several businesses over the years, with the last being Tucker Feed before retiring.  Frankie loved animals, as could be seen around the feed store. From dogs to guineas to peacocks and from horses to cattle to goats, she loved them all.  She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and spending time with her friends.  She was a huge supporter of Pewitt FFA.  In her younger years, Frankie enjoyed singing, and knew every word to every country song.

Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; her parents; one son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Wendy Dunning; and two brothers, Ray Butler and Larry Butler.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Neisha Dunning of Omaha; one sister, Karen Phillippe of Columbia, Missouri; two grandchildren, Alexius Dunning and Kyley Croley; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Harrison Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Oney officiating.  Interment will follow at Omaha Cemetery in Omaha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pewitt FFA.
