Gary Lynn Graham, born April 25, 1948, in Gainesville, TX, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on January 12, 2026, in Omaha, TX. Gary was born April 25, 1948, in Gainesville, Texas, to Burl Daniel Graham and Eunice Odessa Robinson.

Gary was a skilled hunter and gun enthusiast. In his younger days he operated a shop where he worked on guns of all designs.  He liked the challenge of disassembling them, identifying the problem, and bringing them back to perfection.  Gary enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, riding his Harley and ATV, checking on his cattle, fishing, or sitting on the porch scouting for deer with his dogs Abby and later Bosco.

His career with USDA spanned more than 30 years, after which he retired and returned to the workforce as an operator at the Mt. Pleasant Water Treatment Plant.  He made many friends both in his jobs and his leisure activities and will be greatly missed.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Burl Daniel and Odessa (Robinson) Graham, and his sister, Cheryle Tigert.

Gary leaves to cherish his memory sons and daughters-in-law Greg and Nichole (Wilson) Graham of Huntersville, NC, and Chris and Anne (McDonald) Rozzell of Dallas, TX; daughter Tammie Graham of Houston, TX; grandchildren Jack, Claire, and Walker Graham and Grayson, Noah, and Rhett Rozzell; nieces Nikki Bishop and Staci Acker; great-nieces Cheyenne Sheffield and Bailey McCall; special 'bud' Rusty Anderson; good friend and stepmother to his children Diane (Meek) Graham of Broken Bow, OK; and a host of friends.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at Indigo Assisted Living in Omaha, TX. Special thanks to caregivers Justine, Zyan, Jennifer, Ashley and also Vickie, who lovingly held his hand as he gained his wings.  Their constant smiles and kindnesses helped to make Gary's final years brighter.
