Lewis Gene Badgett, age 77, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, at his home. Lewis was born March 12, 1941 in English, Texas to John Badgett and Ruby Cunningham Badgett.

Lewis was a retired truck driver. He was a Jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, fishing, hunting, camping and helping others.

Lewis was preceded in death by his parents and twelve brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife Helen Roberts of Naples, Texas; three daughters, Debbie Castillo of Birmingham, Alabama, Barbara Stallworth of Lone Star, Texas, and Vickie Badgett of Marietta, Texas; two brothers, Ralph Badgett of DeKalb, Texas and Jerry Badgett of New Braunfels, Texas; one sister, Mildred Penny of Clarksville, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas.
