George Allen Goodwin, age 52, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at his home.  George was born July 24, 1967 in Houston, Texas to Autrey Lee Goodwin and Bobbie Nell Laney Goodwin.

George was a member at Concord Missionary Baptist Church.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  George loved spending time with his family and cooking for them.  He enjoyed entertaining others.

George was preceded in death by his first wife, Crystal Goodwin; his father, Autrey "Tuffy" Goodwin; one son, Scout Goodwin; and one brother, Autrey "Goob" Goodwin.

Survivors include George's wife, Heather Goodwin of Omaha; his mother, Bobbie Goodwin of Omaha; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brittani and Tyler Stroschein of Hallsville, Texas and Schyllar and Coyt Cameron of Omaha; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger "Doe" and Joan Goodwin of Shreveport, Louisiana; one sister and brother-in-law, Lexey and Chris Sparks of Mt. Vernon, Texas; special aunt and uncle, Ouida and Kenneth Patton of Omaha; special nephew, Forrest Goodwin of St. Charles, Missouri; four grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the funeral home with Rev. Nolan Richey and Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating.  Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Omaha.
