Gregory Bernard "Bubba" Beard, Jr., age 2, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Bubba was born September 10, 2012 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Gregory Beard, Sr. and Tashona Hagar.

Accompanying Bubba on the journey to Heaven were his mother, Tashona Hagar; sister, Destiny Skyler Hagar, and an unborn sibling.

Bubba is survived by his father, Greg Beard of Dallas; great-grandmother, Climmie Matthews of Omaha; sisters, Nevaeh Whetstone, Alexis Betts, and Janique Betts; brothers, Gregory Pearson, Cyrus Beard, Antwon Beard, Gary Pearson and Justin Wheeler; special aunts, Takota Matthews and Rachael Stacks; four other aunts, three uncles; two great-aunts, three great-uncles; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at the Paul Pewitt High School Auditorium with Rev. Randy Seybert officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Titus County.
