Harlan Gail Morrow, age 86, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at his home. Harlan was born August 18, 1930 in Lake City, Iowa to Elbert Dee Morrow and Mable Dreeszen Morrow.
Harlan was a member at the First United Methodist Church in Naples. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a horse trainer. Harlan was a member of VFW Post 1890. He was also a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. In the past, Harlan was a member of the Foxy Trotters Drill Team in Cheyenne, Wyoming and the Top Rail Saddle Club in Lake City, Iowa. He worked with several handicapped children over the years. He enjoyed teaching horsemanship. Harlan also enjoyed fishing.
Harlan was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Morrow; his parents; two brothers, Donald Morrow and Robert Morrow; and one sister, Beulah Janssen.
Surviving family members include his wife, Kathy Morrow of Naples; one son and daughter-in-law, Rocky and Tara Morrow of Arizona; one daughter and son-in-law, Dee and Roger Rollins of Marietta, Texas; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Naples with Rev. Jay Barnes officiating.
