Samuel Harold Wright, 79, of Omaha, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, in a Mt. Pleasant, Texas nursing home. Harold was born July 7, 1935, in Naples, Texas, to Samuel Davis Wright and Madeline Georgia Lewis Wright.

Harold was a member at Concord Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from Lone Star Steel, where he was a welder. He was a mason, a hunter, and a family man.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Madeline Wright.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce Wright of Omaha; two sons, Kip Wright of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Shannon Wright of Keller, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Sue Wright of Longview; one sister, Marilyn Wright of Cookville; four grandchildren, Will Wright, Ben Wright, Shelby Wright, and Brooke Wright; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha, with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating.
