Hayden Glen Lee, age 80, of Lone Star, Texas, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, in Lone Star, Texas. Hayden was born March 9, 1937 in Bryans Mill, Texas to Jack Halbrook Lee and Isobell Elliott Lee.

Hayden was a member at First United Methodist Church in Naples. He was a United States National Guard veteran. Hayden owned the Ben Franklin store in Naples for many years, and then he went to work for the Dollar General Corporation, where he was a district manager. He was a past president of the Paul Pewitt School Board, a member of the Morris County Child Welfare Board, a member of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), on the administrative board at First United Methodist Church in Naples, and a member of the Naples Lions Club. Hayden enjoyed playing golf, hunting, and fishing in his spare time.

Hayden was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Karen Buckles; grandparents, Jim and Ola Elliott; one brother, James Lee; and two sisters, Shirley Hall and Kathy Byrd.

Survivors include one daughter, Glenna Lee of Ft. Worth; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jackie and Pam Lee of Lone Star; Sammy Lee of Wylie, Texas, and Gary and Dianne Lee of Flint, Texas; two sisters, Carolyn Surber of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Pam Minor of Longview; two grandsons, Zach Buckles and wife Whitley of Houston, and Kaleb Buckles of Dallas; one great-granddaughter, Karlee Buckles; one uncle, J.C. Elliott; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bryan Peck officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bryans Mill.
